Onirologia AKA Costantino Toth (b. 1995) is a composer and musician who now resides in Berlin. The artist relies on 'conceptual commitment to the recorded sample’ when writing music, so as to realize sound’s potential to become a Janusian, achronological archive. By dissolving linear notions of time, she reclaims her body from intergenerational trauma in order to incite transformation in both herself and the listener. Onirologia has applied this process to solo projects and collaborations across many genres, from ballet and theater to extreme metal and hip-hop. Onirologia's most recent release is her 3-track EP, "Bernardino Da Siena". Recorded inside an Italian medieval church, she fuses electronic music and black metal to confront the Roman Catholic Church’s historically-violent treatment of women and queer people. Costantino is currently writing her second LP, a science-fiction concept album using only recordings she made while working inside the Amazon warehouse at Tegel.
